2. Scan for the lowest day, not your original one
Look across the visible range for a genuinely lower price rather than anchoring to the date you first had in mind.
3. Check outbound and return independently
The cheapest combination isn't always your cheapest single outbound plus cheapest single return — check the actual combined total.
4. Widen your window a few days each way
